I sat in the 2002 seat at the Seattle show, it definitely felt better to me. Don't know what the cost is. I'm using the AirHawk air pad, little less than $200 in J.C.Whitney. and it made all the difference. 2 tanks of gas vs 35 minutes. Just depends. the air hawk company makes beds and pads for wheel chair bound folks from the same technology and seem to be a reputable company. Last months Rider magazine had a test of various seat pads and their review of them. Hit me direct of you need a copy. Max
